Passwords are fundamental parts of modern-day privacy. They are keys that unlock the doors of the digital world, enabling users to access accounts, information, and more while blocking unwanted viewers.
According to a Google report, 24% of Americans, nearly a quarter, have used variations of Password, 123456, Welcome, lloveyou, Admin, 111111, Qwerty, and abc123. Simple and common passwords are extremely insecure as hackers can easily guess them, and access valuable information within minutes.
Noting the vulnerability of passwords in our community, we decided to take the matter into our own hands by sharing the dangers of weak passwords, how it affects our community and more.
